Frequently asked questions
Our certificated Evening Classes are open to University Students, Staff, Alumni (for a discount) and members of the public. In line with current University policy, we can only accept enrolments for those aged 18 or over in the academic year.
Most of our courses run for 10 weeks (10 weeks x 2 hours) starting in October with continuation courses offered in term 2 and 3.
Some courses are (10 weeks x 1.5 hours) and we also offer introductory courses (10 weeks x 1 hour).

You can enrol and pay for all our courses using the Universities secure on-line payment store: Exeter on-line store
Enrolment is open from June and continues up to course commencement, but is done on a first come, first served basis. All courses are subject to viability.

A timetable is available on our website. We try not to change published days and times. However, if you book a place on a course and the day subsequently changes, you will have the option to request a full refund, prior to commencement of course.
If you choose to cancel your place prior to the commencement of the course, a standard administration fee of £25 will be retained. Once a course has started, please note that course fee refunds are not applicable.
Provided you have attended more than 80% of classes and you complete the course, you can request a Certificate of Attendance for your Evening Class. To do so, please contact elp@exeter.ac.uk
