Overview

I am a postgraduate researcher in the field of Translation Studies, particularly in Audiovisual Translation. My PhD thesis is about “Arabic Subtitles of Jane Eyre Tangling Between Domestication and Foreignization.”  I am keen to participate in research papers about audiovisual translation, subtitling and dubbing.  

Since 2012 till 2020, I was working as a translation lecturer at IMSIU in Riyadh. I have established the Translation Center in the Department of Languages and Translation at IMSIU. 

I have an MA degree in socio-medical translation with the second honorary degree, and a BA degree in English Language and Literature with the first honorary degree and the second highest GPA amongst 2012 class.
